European Oriental
What do you think of my travel theme?

I came up with this travel theme for me and my friends.
I called it "European contrasts".

1-Amsterdam - Vatican city
From the most sinful to the holliest city.

2-Zurich - Naples
From the cleanest to the dirtiest city.

3-London - Sarajevo
From the most westernized to the most oriental.

4-Venice - Stockholm
From Venice of the south to Venice of the north.

5-Athens - Berlin
From the oldest to the newest city

.....
Could you give me some other ideas?
Newest as newly built. It's true that some old parts are still noticeable, but
most of Berlin has been destroyed during world war II.

I don't see how you can see berlin as a newest city. I've been there and the old parts are very noticable, politically it's newer..is that what you mean?

Chester is a city in Cheshire that is old enough to make your spine tingle, yet you will see that it is young enough in spirit to go along with everything that you can possibly think of. Founded in around 70 AD as Deva Victrix by Romans, the city has a lot of places of historical interest. And while visiting, one of the dilemmas is deciding where to stay. Frankly, Chester earns a lot of tourism revenue and therefore there are a number of great hotels as well. And if you want to save any possible amount on your visit, may be this writing will be of some help.

Most hotels in Chester feature at least one in-house restaurant and one bar. The foods that are served are traditionally English and there is also choice of other flavors ranging from Oriental, European to Mediterranean or Middle Eastern. The bars offer branded spirits, brewed whiskies, scotch and other liqueurs, mainly English or Scandinavian.

The bedrooms in all hotels are well furnished and a lot of them feature modern amenities such as large screen televisions with cable, high speed broadband connection etc. Some of the hotels have their own libraries and exclusive drawing rooms with food and beverage service, but they tend to be significantly more expensive than those that do not.

While you are staying at a hotel, especially when you are on a vacation, you probably want a nice elegant view from your bedroom. If so, the guest houses in the suburban areas, but not so far away from the city center, can be a great choice for you. Most of these small hotels are family run and they happen to cost comparatively less. In addition, you get the great views that come along with it, effectively free of cost! However, certain services will not be available in these places.

If you want a moderately expensive accommodation during your stay in Chester, there some of the best offers from hotels in chester are made by mostly 4-star, 3-star or 2-star hotels. The accommodations that you get in these places are standard and in some cases you can enjoy a bit of luxury, but that is actually dependent on how much you are ready to spend. Starting from around US$60, the range can only go up according to the kind of service you want. The best deals, however, lie somewhere between US$100 to US$180. And also, if you choose a self-catering accommodation, the cost is significantly reduced.

Aside from the high-end hotels, the best thing to do is to choose an accommodation plan from chester hotels that costs around US$120 – US$150, i.e., if you are trying to enjoy yourself as well as trying to save a few bucks. You can always get a hotel that costs less than that, but there is always the possibility that it may not be what you expect.

Some of the moderate range Chester hotels are Belgrave Hotel, Best Western Llyndir Hall Hotel, Holiday Inn Chester South, Latymer House, Inglewood Manor, Mill Hotel, Westminster Hotel, Ford Farm Bed and Breakfast, Ramada Crewe, Elm Cottage Bed and Breakfast etc. Other than these, there are a number of other hotels as well that you can learn about online. Here is a recommended link to all the hotels in Chester: http://www.grosvenorpulfordhotel.co.uk/.

chester hotels And hotels in chester No matter what kind of deals you get, everything regarding an accommodation basically depends on what you want. It is possible to make a single vacation worth US$500 or ten times that.

Music of Lou Harrison

Music of Lou Harrison

$10.40

The major work here is "Pacifika Rondo", for a typically Harrisonian combination of far eastern and western instruments, with the emphasis on the percussion section. The music mixes all sorts of styles as it travels around the Pacific rim, and even contemplates The Bomb in a twisted atonal idiom. It's both humorous and disturbing at once. The other instrumental pieces are all attractive essays in ...

The Renaissance rang in changes at a breathtaking pace, changes that shape the world to this day. Now Jerry Brotton deftly captures this remarkable age, in a book that places Europe's great flowering in a revealing global context.
