Make your wedding day that extra special. I had a marquee for my wedding and whilst I thought it would be a bit of a headache doing the whole thing ourselves it was actually really good. The marquee company did everything, arranged the bar, the catering, the seating plans, the furniture, the power, the toilets, the band and even made sure the best man was given a step for his speech.

Having a marquee makes your wedding day so much more special than a venue as you are always pressured into having a venue and finishing at a certain time and you cant do this and cant do that.You have the freedom to have it on your own land and finish whatever time you like. You can even get to see the finished result before the wedding if you like and not get a big surprise on the day when something has not been set up right.

The drapes inside looking absolutely divine, you can have any colours you like and a range of pea lights, starlight roofing and lasers to create the most amazing effects.

Everything is planned to the T, you received Cad drawings to see the layout before and colour swatches for your carpet, furniture and drapes so you can match them in with your bridesmaid dresses and colour theme.

You can have a reveal wall so that your dancefloor and music area is hidden behind a curtain and none of the guests will know it is there and all of a sudden in the evening you can open the curtain and SURPRISE to everyone.

You can have luxury toilets which are so divine you wont believe, some are better than venue toilets, with plush towels, pictures on the wall, subtle music, air freshning system, gorgeous smelling soap, hand creams and even pot pourri! The toilets are all self contained so there is no cleaning out and it is simply towed away afterwards.

If you have a piece of land and no power, you can hire a generator, from 10kva to 1000kva the semi silent generators are perfect for powering your event. These run generally on diesel and come with distribution boards and cabling for your services.

You can floor the marquee either with solid wooden floor or if you have flat land you can have a damp proof course laid with carpet over the top. The carpet comes in a huge range of colours and again you can match in your own colour scheme.

Tables and Chairs are also available and come in a range of colours and sized depending on your preference. A 5'6 table would hold up to 10 people and is most popular for weddings. Chairs covers and coloured sashes are also available.

If you are asking about area rugs, then the braided rugs aren't too bad for that but they can slip so need something under it to stop the slipping (stitching rubber sealer rings in random places can work)..I have a couple of natural coloured sheep skin rugs that seem good..the hair from my dog (who sleeps on one a lot or from the cats - have two) doesn't seem to stick to it at all! The only problem I have with the sheepskin is that you have to have it specially cleaned...but looks great.

Every designer must have patience, persistence, and reserved as well as very friendly attitude. Creativity demands a great deal of energy, so are you energetic. You can work on all latest computer software; it doesn't means that you are designer. Think, do you know, what is the design? What are the elements of design? What is the typography? What are the color schemes? What combination of colors should use when or why? What is the Gestalt Psychological Theorem? What do all shapes indicate? Do you know what circles, rectangles, polygons, curved lines, squares, and spheres indicate? If your answer is "NO" then you......are........not.......a designer.

I would suggest you to explore more about the designing fundamentals and their principles. You can search any professional institute for the same also. Definitely, your career will be on boom, your salary package will be in five to six figures. I have been into this field for last 12 years. I have designed many campaign including brochures, calendars, catalogues, packaging, web sites, intro, presentations etc. In those twelve years of journey, I explored much more and exploring till now.
